Grade 7 Students,

Read the wikipedia article about Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Take notes in your Music Journal. Remember the 5Ws.

Listen to 2 songs and put those titles in your Music Journal. Use the elements of Music to explain the song (i.e. tempo, meter, instruments).

Most importantly, listen to "Moanin" and be able to play the F minor pentatonic scale!
